Police: Detective Slain Over Parking Spot

BALTIMORE -- City police said Sunday that a man has been charged with first-degree murder after an off-duty detective was killed over an apparent dispute about a parking space.

Baltimore homicide detectives filed first-degree murder charges against Sian James, 25, in the slaying of Detective Brian Stevenson, who would have celebrated his 38th birthday Sunday.

Stevenson was out celebrating with a friend at about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of Hudston Street in Canton when he became involved in an argument over a parking spot, authorities said.

"As the dispute escalated, a suspect pulled a rock or large piece of concrete from the ground and struck the officer with it," police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.

Stevenson sustained head trauma and died at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was an 18-year veteran with the department, Guglielmi said.

He'll likely be spending most of the rest of his days in a room smaller than a parking space.

The gun-grabbers will now go after rocks and concrete.

A former New York-based FBI agent told me a Jamaican rasta-clown got into an argument with him when he (the agent) pointed out that the clown had dropped something (actually throwing his lunch on the sidewalk). The clown got into the agent’s face and started screaming at him. A witness, who turned out to be an off-duty NYPD detective, came from behind and punched the clown in the kidneys so hard he keeled over.

Well, I guess he doesn't get to play the race card then.

You know d*mn well he would have, had the dead man been white.

“He call me de “n” word.”

My brother used to work for the public defenders office. That was the first thing that most of the PDs asked and impressed upon their minority clients accused of a crime of violence against Whitey.

I’ve been held up and robbed at gunpoint on three occasions, all perps were black males between 19 and 26. All had a weird sense of entitlement, like it was OK because I was a white male. (Boy, were they all disappointed when they found out I had less money than they did!)

The weapon of choice in certain neighborhoods in San Francisco seems to be a brick, as I saw a young white guy barely escape with his life after he ventured into the wrong neighborhood on foot. He was escorted out by several thugs with bricks, all poised to bash his head in should he linger too long. (Shades of Reginald Denny. By the time I backed up the car he had made it out OK.)

A bicyclist who crashed on a corner, again in an “economically deprived” neighborhood was robbed and then stomped to death as he lay injured and helpless. Again, wrong skin color in the wrong neighborhood.

But these stories are downplayed in the MSM, and hate crime charges are never pursued. It only goes one way, you know. So much for equal protection under the law.

(sigh)

You forgot the part about “turning his life around, and an aspiring musician.”

I guessed that.

Know why?
