Turns out it is very easy. You use "View Source" in the original article and find the table. It will be between two "tags" - <table> and </table>. You just copy all that text (including the two table tags) and paste it in.

It causes a problem w FreeRepublic, though, because once it detects some html, the rest of your article must be in html also. But it appears you used html correctly for that because you embedded the images. It's quite simple to do. Give it a try.

Easiest way would be go to the article and view the source (View->Page Source in firefox) and copy everything from (and including) <table> to </table>
