You don’t need LimeWire .. (Malware) if you use YouTube.

Every video and tune from All ages are there and you can put the videos on dvd or put just the music on cds.

People still use this?

It’s like using a spoon that is shared by 1000 people, all with canker sores.

(Very sorry if you are eating right now)

I really wish someone would press the media to quit calling it “file sharing”. There’s no sharing to it. It’s copyright infringement.

I downloaded almost every song i will ever want before Napster was shut down.
Besides the ones i missed anything new released is just not worth the effort nowadays.
Sorry RIAA, It’s over for you, your clients and for the crap acts they represent nowadays.
I feel for the thousands of music acts they have screwed over over these past five decades.
Now who is getting screwed?

I downloaded virtually every song I ever wanted with BT, Kazaa etc. I made sure I used the spyware-free versions and always ran a virus scan etc. and have never had any problems with viruses.

But, I haven’t done that in years.

I get oodles of itunes gift cards every year for Christmas etc., so I just use those.

Okay, show me the Bommer “When the Man Comes Around” video.

That was wiped from the internet, clean as a whistle.

Prove me wrong — please!

I use the Zune Pass myself. I do remember Napster though downloading a 3.2 megabyte eminem song over a dialup connection. Only took about six hours as I recall. Ah to be 12 and stupid again.

Under the law yes. But if I buy a cd or in the past an album and record it for someone, I see nothing morally wrong with that. File sharing is just a high tech version of that. Someone at some point paid full price for that song and it became their property. They can do with it as they please. The law is flat out wrong.

Yea it was a fun and amazing thing when Napster was first invented.
Now i don’t even bother.

I actually did try to download a copy of Galaxy Quest from PB the other day. I had this great sudden urge to watch it but i Couldn’t find a copy that worked right.
Oh well, it came in the mail today from netflix anyways.

Same thing with Pirate Bay, they just moved the server and the same situation happened w/ kickasstorrents. KAT is rumored to be in Panama and PB is somewhere in Eastern Europe. Warez..well, no one exactly knows. I used Limewire once just to find out how fast it was. Just use bittorrent if there are enough seeders.

Making a copy for a friend or a family member is sharing, and is actually covered under many “fair use” laws. Putting a copy on a server for 20 million of your closest friends on the internet is NOT sharing. It’s copyright infringement, and it’s basically a form of theft.

Yep. Pretty much every song or movie (even those still in theaters) can be found streaming somewhere on the net. No idea why people still using those file sharing sites.
