Vice President Joe Biden visited Delaware County this week, stumping for Democratic congressional candidate Bryan Lentz. In his remarks, Biden blamed the Bush Administration for the nations economic woes, further chastising the GOP for not getting it.
As far as not getting it, it remained unclear as to which Bush Administration Biden was referring. But why stop at Bush I? Why not blame Nixon and Cal Coolidge, too? The Veep, in an attempt to rally his troops, emphatically stated that those reports (READ: every single poll) predicting the death of the Democratic Party are greatly exaggerated, and that his arty would continue digging America out of its hole.
Continue? Wait
when did they start?

And what does it tell you about Schwartz's internal polling that she feels compelled to run attack ads on TV and send out attack mailings - against a candidate whose biggest problem was name recognition - that doesn't sound like she's seeing the 20+ point lead she claimed earlier in the month.
It’s the same in Indiana. With only one notable exception, all democrat ads are attacking their GOP opponents, either calling them “tax maniacs,” raising the usual fear/lie about grandma living in a cold cardboard box eating cat food, or saying they got rich deporting American jobs. Nothing at all about record deficits, chronically high unemployment, cap & trade, stimulus, bailout, nationalizing student loans, the auto industry or health care.
The one exception is Andre Carson, who mostly represents inner city Indianapolis. He is openly touting 0bama’s change and claims that his constituents want more “change.” (The kind that doesn’t go “clank” in the piggy bank, one would assume).
HillBuzz has some bombshell news - if true - that DNC early voting turnout models show Dems crossing and voting straight GOP because they are so mad at Obama.
I hope!..I hope!...I hope!...Go Pa! The big boys need to just let this play out nicely... Toomey still ahead...
I would guess that “Andre Carson, who mostly represents inner city Indianapolis”, wants to take money from those who earned it and give it to those who didn’t?

That was my take as well. It reminds me of a side trip (or you can call it getting lost) up in the Region back in the late 70’s when I went through Gary. Mayor Hatcher was running for re-election and a billboard featured his campaign slogan:
“Let’s Get It ALL Together!”
This is where "turnout models" collapse, as in 2008 when traditionally Republican districts "made their numbers" but so many Republicans were voting for Obama that it didn't matter.
Andre is the grandson of Julia Carson, who died several years ago while the House Rep from the same district. I believe she could have been the most illiterate person in the history of the House.
Andre has all the liberalism of Grandma with a bonus. He’s an avowed Muslim, not even attempting to be a fake Protestant.
There’s actually a decent black Republican running against him, Marv Scott, but given the demographics, it ain’t gonna happen.
Exactly. If the wave is so huge, it smashes the traditional turnout models, so even this HillBuzz stuff may be even bigger than anyone realizes.
Let’s hope.
Thanks for the ping.
