You, me, and others of similar mind ought to hire ourselves a canon lawyer.

Cardinal-designate Burke does not have a diocese, and thus is not in a position, canonically, to single-handedly excommunicate anybody, as far as I know. But it seems to me that since he does have the authority to make canonical rulings (as head of the A.P.) there ought to be some kind of enforcement mechanism.

So, what's needed? A canonical lawsuit? Can we qualify as plaintiffs?

I honestly don't know and am asking this as a sincere question. Are there any FReeper canon lawyers?

Can we sue Cardinal-designate Wuerl?

Unfortunately, it would be a delict to get him with a cream pie.

Maybe these people can help: http://www.st-joseph-foundation.org/

From their website:

The Saint Joseph Foundation serves Catholics who seek to know and vindicate their rights within the Church - rights that the Church herself recognizes and protects. Whenever individuals or groups believe their rights are threatened or have been violated, the Foundation assists them in using the means established by the Church to obtain remedies.
