Television reporters caught on tape appearing to discuss the possibility of "child molesters" making up the ranks of Alaska Senate candidate Joe Miller's supporters were just bandying about "what-if scenarios," the station's manager said Sunday. But that kind of scenario might not be appropriate even for a brainstorming session, according to a prominent communication professor at American University in Washington, D.C. "If journalists are making bad jokes about what they hope to find at a rally, that sounds inappropriate," Jane Hall said.

If these SeeBS bozos really wanted to find a “child molester”, all they had to do was go to the Komedy Central Klownfest in Washington yesterday. They were all over the place.
If pudgy little college interns count, then the SeeBS Bozos had to look no further than any event attended by Bubba Clinton ... or half of the Rat Congressional Congress, for that matter.
Or, they could check up on Obama’s safe schools czar:
Liberal journalists don’t even see what they are doing.
When I was working at a paper, I stopped a writer from calling the American Atheists to drum up complaints over a local official starting an invocation before village board meetings. He didn’t even understand the difference between reporting news if residents complained about the invocation and ginning up complaints about something residents approved of.

Perhaps, in some cases. But other times, they see it clearly but do it anyway. It may be a poor analogy, but it seems similar to a teacher who has inappropriate contact with a student. In that case, it’s a clear abuse of power and trust, but not all that long ago those same attributes were also found in the majority of journalists.
The media spends a lot of time bemoaning all the changes technology has forced upon the industry. But perhaps journalists should spend more time looking in a mirror and asking how they have allowed themselves to fall so far.
Wow. Jane Hall is not known for appearing to be so middle of the road.
Ya think, Jane. What a tool.
Sounded more like making plans, Jane. How does that square with your sense of "appropriateness".
What is Mr. Condit's real story?
“Liberal journalists dont even see what they are doing.”
They know exactly what they are doing. I was at a Buchanan rally during the 1996 primaries. I was in broadcasting at the time, but was off duty and went with our news director. A woman from some magazine walked up and asked where the demonstrators were. There weren’t any. She was bummed.
I call bullshit on the professor.
