So, in other words, we'll be waiting a very long time for you to add any useful analysis to the thread.
Thanks!
The GOP will not do as well this election cycle as it conceivably could have due to phenomena like the O’Donnell candidacy and campaign.
O’Donnell is far from a perfect candidate.
On the other hand, the odds are Castle (the perfect candidate) once in office would not have pushed to repeal ObamaCare or to extend the Bush tax cuts for everyone, would have voted for cap-and-trade, and in general would have supported most of the Obama agenda.
Bottom line: both O’Donnel and Castle are flawed, but in different ways. The question is: which is worse?
(1) O’Donnell - the seriously flawed candidate.
(2) Castle - the seriously flawed office holder.
IMHO, Castle is the worse of the two options. At least with O’Donnell you have a chance of improving the situation in Washington. With Castle you have a 100% gurantee the situation will get worse.
If they had, they would have a better answer than this:
"O'Donnell spokesman Doug Sachtleben said he was not sure why the ad did not air Sunday night. "I don't know if it was something on the cable channel's side," he said in an interview.
If he knew that all his campaign's ducks were definitely in a row and if his campaign had been proactive in communicating with the station, his answer wouldn't be: "Uh, I don't know. Maybe they forgot or something."
He would at least be able to say definitively that it was the station's fault and that he could ensure the campaign's supporters that he knows that it was "something on the cable channel's side."
Your logic borders on being circular. Having not proven that her campaign was incompetent this time, you then draw on supposed past campaign incompetence to make your point.
There is the added possibility that it might have been a mistake with formats or with the material getting to the station on time. There is also the conspiracy theory option.
Yup, the idea of the station deliberately not airing the add must be a conspiracy theory, while your above theory about COD isn't.
Try being more objective.
I'm sure O'Donnell would have been a much better vote to have in the Senate.
The issue here was the unattractive choice between Castle voting with the Democrats 90% of the time and Coons voting with his party 100% of the time.
With Castle, the GOP could at least have had the majority leadership, the committee chairmanships, etc.
Castle was a terrible candidate who was electable statewide in one of America's bluest states.
I'm willing to bet any amount of money that you are exactly right.
The "they forgot" line is coming out of O'Donnell's campaign - not the station.
Once again....
How much money are you willing to bet that you are wrong? I've offered up $5k..and $10k. You said...any amount.
You can spin this all you want....but I'm calling you out. You know EXACTLY what you are attempting here...
Put your money where your mouth is. Whom do you want to hold our money?

The WaPo cut the spokesman's comment off in mid sentence.
Tell me the track record of accuracy that the WaPo has when they cut quotes off in mid sentence not to mention when they leave off the full context?
It's pretty amply proven. When contacted, her campaign's officially response was that they had no idea what was going on.
It's not supposed. Her campaign had $4 million dollars yet they waited three weeks before airing their first commercial.
They're handed the good fortune of national exposure on Face The Nation - they accept, then turn it down.
Yup, the idea of the station deliberately not airing the add must be a conspiracy theory, while your above theory about COD isn't.
It's not exactly a "conspiracy theory" to suggest that an amateur campaign might not handle a media buy particularly well. For it to be a conspiracy theory, it would involve someone conspiring.
Try being more objective.
Interesting suggestion, given that even the O'Donnell campaign cannot say definitvely if it was the station's fault and almost everyone on this thread is discussing it as if it were established fact that it was the station's fault.
And we know this how?
And please don't say because of the comma following the quote.
Actually, I started the thread. Maybe you've been too busy trashing O'Donnell and her campaign to notice.
As for analysis, it's my position that any critique of O'Donnell or her campaign is best delayed until after the polls close tomorrow night. I've already made that clear.
Until then, I believe promoting her and her campaign is the proper course for all conservatives to follow.
I noticed that you did not offer an analysis of what you believe to be the circumstances of this failed campaign infomercial.
You've basically just criticized me for having a view.

Maybe $15k? I have that...let's do it.

So you are saying that:
(1) texmexis best was wrong,
(2) the station actually did forget to run the infomercial,
and
(3) you are willing to bet as much as $15,000 that the station legitimately just forgot to run the ad?
I've given you a couple of occasions to clarify exactly what you're betting on.
To reiterate I agreed with texmexis best, just as I wrote.
You're exactly right, I find your O'Donnell denigration distasteful.
Update: Some readers have complained to the cable station, which has responded by saying that they didnt get the tape until Sunday, and that the problem was with Comcast employees not getting the job done.
Fair enough. I find her throwing away a possible GOP majority in the Senate distasteful.

Thank you.
OO, this reinforces texmexis best's and my position that there is no way a station just forgot to air an infomercial.
The station is now apparently blaming its carrier and is not trying to sell us the line that they simply forgot to run it.
Here's what YOU wrote
I'm willing to bet any amount of money that you are exactly right.
The "they forgot" line is coming out of O'Donnell's campaign - not the station.
And once again....I will take that bet for at least $5k....but you said..."any amount"...so I will go up the ladder. Just give me the amount....
And once more....people here, know what you are doing. And I have called you out at least 3 times now.
Put your money where your mouth is
Or retract that you will bet anything....
You said it.....I didn't.
Bet, or shut the hell up about it.
I've called your bluff...either admit it was a bluff...or place your money on the table.
Yes, looks like tomorrow night will be as joyfull as the election night 2 years ago was depressing.
Even in Delaware- Biden is making an appearance today in Wilmington, that could very well be enough to give O’Donnell those last few voters she needs to win ;-)
