Interesting that the two Senate races that should have been easier to manage seem to have been poorly managed.

Delaware.... 885,000 pop
Alaska.... .... 698,000 pop, but AK is not concentrated like DE

Yes, both of their State Republican Parties are in terrible disarray.
Delaware most.

Good observation.

BTW, the 2000 census for DE was 784,000 and the current estimate is 885,000.

That's 13% population growth in one decade.

Something is awry there: it's not as if DE has a particularly high birth rate, or that Wilmington and Philadelphia have been hubs of job growth at any point in the last decade.
