A conservatism that does not value honesty is not conservatism.
The GOP will not do as well this election cycle as it conceivably could have due to phenomena like the O'Donnell candidacy and campaign.

O’Donnell is far from a perfect candidate.
On the other hand, the odds are Castle (the perfect candidate) once in office would not have pushed to repeal ObamaCare or to extend the Bush tax cuts for everyone, would have voted for cap-and-trade, and in general would have supported most of the Obama agenda.
Bottom line: both O’Donnel and Castle are flawed, but in different ways. The question is: which is worse?
(1) O’Donnell - the seriously flawed candidate.
(2) Castle - the seriously flawed office holder.
IMHO, Castle is the worse of the two options. At least with O’Donnell you have a chance of improving the situation in Washington. With Castle you have a 100% gurantee the situation will get worse.
