No fan of the Browne slut, but this pales in comparison to the kegs of rum and corn likker that used to be rolled out in the nineteenth century. They made election day an all day party, a celebration you might say, back when America was young.

There are still places in the south where food, beer etc. are found at polling places. Outside the required distance and for ALL voters, usually it doesn’t say party that provides it. I think in some places it’s an attitude, like voting/picnic day :)
