I don’t think Palin supported any primary challenger that was Tea Party other than O’Donnell, and we’ve only got 46 in the Senate. Story is poppycock. Angle and Buck she supported after their primary wins, Fiorino wasn’t Tea Party really, and Miller or Murkowski will still be a Republican win. It comes down to O’Donnell, and I’m with Palin on that one. We don’t need to give liberals like Castle more power as well as the cover of a Republican party label. Palin’s primary picks were pitch perfect — including O’Donnell.
I won’t hold my breath, but the “establishment” needs to look for good CONSERVATIVE candidates for 2012 or they face the same primary challenges . . . and hopefully the same incredible victory by conservatives again.
The Tea Partie groups are not waiting for the establishment to pick anyone. They will support those who subscribe to their principles and take on the establishment if they choose to field their beltway approved candidates. Give them a few months for Marco to sink in before they actually start to know something is up.
