.....people believed a jet with it's forward fuselage blown off could climb almost 2 thousand feet....

I'm still trying to figure out how kerosene vapor was made to burn explosively at 14,000'.....without being compressed......

I also never bought into the idea that the air-vapour mixture in that fuel tank was within the explosive limits of Kerosene/Jet A.

If the tank was first ruptured, and then the liquid Jet A vapourised, THEN I can see an explosive mixture forming.
