13-year-old Cody Alicea rides with an American flag on the back of his bike. He says he does this to be patriotic and to honor veterans, like his own grandfather, Robert. He's had the flag on his bike for two months but Monday, was asked told to take it down. A school official at Denair Middle School told Cody some students had been complaining about the flag and it was no longer allowed on school property. "In this country we're supposed to be free," said Cody. "And I should be able to wave my flag wherever I want to. And they're telling me I can't." Cody's grandfather says the school was concerned about racial tensions or uprisings because of the flag. He feels if there was really a problem it should have been brought up two months ago, not during Veterans week. "No action should be taken. We don't want any repercussion," said Roger. "We just want Cody to be proud of what he's doing."

This desecration of our flag occurred on the main lawn directly in front of the Arizona Capital building on 7-31-2010....All caught on video.
I’ve heard these illegals and their Mexican pro-illegal alien supporters, spray painted, "Burn this racist city to the ground" and placed a toilet seat on Old Glory as they walked all over our flag....

IF that really is a valid concern, then we have a serious problem here; but the problem is NOT the child who wishes to fly the flag of this country IN this country. The problem is those who would allow, or even TOLERATE, the development of "racial tensions or uprisings because of the flag".

The ONLY people that can say they were in AZ first are the Native Americans that were already on this side of the border. The descendants of the very few Mexican citizens that were in AZ 150 years and did not choose to go over the border back into Mexico at any point in the last 150 years can claim they were here first. The ones that stayed in Mexico have NO claim. Any illegals sneaking in now have ZERO claim. The United States won it 150 years ago. Mexico had AZ for only about 25 years and there were only around 10,000 in the SW when we won the war.
The United States was very generous when we won against Mexico. Mexico started the war. We won and could’ve taken the entire country fair and square as the spoils of war.

We charge Mexico for the land that they have now. Sell all their valuable assets, as the Soviet Union did when they took over Eastern Europe, charge Mexico for ALL the social services that we have squandered on illegal aliens including hospital visits.
Charge Mexico for all the lost wages and unemployment paid to legal Americans over the decades because the illegals took their jobs and made everyone’s pay in the Estados Unidos lower by having a much too large pool of labor.
Put all the illegal aliens into Belize and Guatemala because it is a very small border to protect and pay those countries a few billion dollars out of what we make on the sale of the assets of Mexico to send every citizen of Mexico into their country since legally ALL of Mexico should, by rights, belong to the USA.

I just brought that up yesterday. Let them become their own country. I don't want them crying out for bail out after they invite illegal invaders to come in and I don't want to pay for their financial collapse after they implement their draconian climate change/disruptification/man-bear-pig laws.
This morning I drove a friend of my daughter to school; her family moved to TN from L.A. in 2005. We started to pick up a lot of CA transplants after the Rodney King riots. Fortunately, not too many want to re-create CA here.
I don’t think you understand what I am saying. I am not saying that we allow CA to secede from the US because of illegals, but because they continue to promulgate the left-wing, anti-American point of view. They are the basket case that will eventually destroy the rest of America if we don’t contain them somehow.

But the superintendent said he's trying to avoid tension on campus.
"(The) First Amendment is important," Superintendent Edward Parraz said. "We want the kids to respect it, understand it, and with that comes a responsiblity."
Parraz said the campus has recently experienced some racial tension. He said some students got out of hand on Cinco de Mayo.
"Our Hispanic, you know, kids will, you know, bring their Mexican flags and they'll display it, and then of course the kids would do the American flag situation, and it does cause kind of a racial tension which we don't really want," Parraz said. "We want them to appreciate the cultures."
