I would like to stick with federalism. Let’s debate the social issues at the state level and fiercely guard state sovereignty. We will certainly have a much better chance of advancing conservative social causes at the state level.
If the states want to change the US Constitution through the amendment process, then so be it.
We must also figure out some way to purge the courts of activist judges. This would be the most immediate and effective way of advancing the conservative social agenda.

Or prevent more of them from getting on certain benches like the Supreme Court. If Obama gets a chance to put forward another Kagan or supposedly wise latina (I pray he doesn't), I want social issues front and center by all of the tea party senators and those judges voted down!

I agree with you regarding federalism and activist judges. If we had a strict constructionist federal judiciary then the social issues would be taken care of in State legislatures.

I would like to purge the Supreme Court of those activist judges that said labor unions and foreign corporations could give big money to our politicians without identifying themselves.

Impeach and remove them from the bench.

That is how our system was set up but the politicians find it convenient to ignore it so they can have leftist judges do their dirty work for them. They can hide behind the robes that way and deny any culpability.

Janet Napolitano was asked if TSS would pat down Muslim women in burkas like they are going to do everyone else. Her response was that she needed to study that issue and she would get back with them.

Social issues are at the forefront of what Obama and the socialists are pushing. If the newly elected Congress is too timid to take them on, then the Socialists and Terrorists win by default.

Too late most "social" issues" such as abortion has been nationalized and gay rights are about to be nationalized. The supreme disappointment should kick these down BUT THEY DON'T DO THAT. States rights are dead and that DOES have consequences.
