Bingo! This is an early test probe to divide the Tea Party from the rest of the Right. This rests on the silly notion that conservatives take Ron PaleoPaulie, the American version of Neville Chamberlain, seriously. Even Rand Paul got elected by NOT being his father on foreign and military policy. If he emulates his father on these subjects, he won't likely be the GOP nominee next time much less re-elected. In any event, whatever Rand Paul does, it was not the Tea Party looking to disarm America and lay her defenseless corpse at the feet of her enemies. He has a Senate seat in which he may give the Federal Reserve a hard time and cut DOMESTIC spending as it should have been cut these many decades and to cut taxes but the rest of the deal is he has an obligation to be pro-gun, pro-life, pro-marriage, opposed to disarmament treaties to be violated later by the lying ex-soviets running Russia and properly disposed on ALL of the important issues. He was listed on the ballot as a Republican and not as a Libertarian.

CNN and the rest of the Lame Stream media well understand that there are 23 Demonrat Senators up in 2012 as well as Obamao, that there will be retirements of senior Demonrat Congresscritters who won't want to serve in the minority and redistricting. Coburn is a superb senator and Rand Paul may become one and neither ought give aid and comfort to the DomesticCong ever lusting to destroy our military. What needs to be destroyed is the Demonratic antiAmerican caucus of the Senate and a few choice Demonrats in GOP drag like Mark Kirk and the Witches of Maine. Let the Tea Party do its thing and primary out the spineless and corrupt elders in the GOP Senate caucus while leveling 18-inch guns at the Demonrats of 2012.

When I was in the Navy the goal was to spend as much as you could because if you didn’t they would assume you didn’t need the money and next year’s budget would be smaller. This thinking isn’t unique to the Navy. I’m pretty confident you could slash budgets across the entire realm of government and true effectiveness wouldn’t be affected in the slightest.

It is the same in the Army....I always got that “September Speech” from my JAG superiors when it came to spending the Claims Office budget....”you’re not guarding Ft. Knox”, they would tell me. If you do not spend it...you lose it
