Would the Lancet feel better if they fell out of windows?

Second-hand smoke globally kills more than 600,000 people each year, accounting for 1% of all deaths worldwide, according to a new study.

Well according to my understanding of Obamacare we should not even consider this a problem (1% of the causes of deaths) since it would be totally inconsistent with the streamlined, get the most benefit for a buck, cost effectiveness that Obamacare will bring to medical care. These people just have to be denied care and die or as they say in the Carribean, No Problem.

This is such a bullsh*t assertion; similar to global warming. But there will be those among us that swear, they smelled cigarettes at some point in their life and now...well now they are sick.

Just as bad as global warming!

The same people are behind both. If you can keep the "crisis" going, you can keep the grant money flowing.

Although I’m so tired I’ll have another cigarette
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid get

Amazing all these deaths are ending in 000 , seems if they were actually counting it would be more like 601,421 or something like that, did they factor in the childrens death by abortion?

I take a second hand smoke break every day. My co-workers all take a smoke break, and since I don’t smoke, I’ll be damned of I’m gonna miss out on a break.

"This helps us understand the real toll of tobacco," said Armando Peruga, of the World Health Organization, who led the study. He said the estimated 603,000 deaths from passive smoking should be added to the 5.1 million that smoking claims annually.

Gee, they didn't like the results of the previous, massive study which concluded either no effects from or a slightly protective effect from second-hand smoke, which they downplayed, so now they've done another one to get the results they wanted with the first.
