THANKFULLY, we got to put up with this stink for 2 more years!
"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president."
I am dismayed that 25% of our country has any respect for the way he is handling his job and approves of what he is doing to our country and economy.
Agreed. obama is more dangerous to our nation than any foreign army. By closing down our sources of oil , he is pumping billions of American dollars into the hands of Muslim terrorist. He is “arming” the enemy using American dollars.
What makes him think he gets a say in the matter for seven more years?
Economic retribution against the south, pure and simple.
Seven years?
How can that be?
Obama will only be dictator for 2 more years, at which time, President Palin will put and end to all this socialist nonsense and adults will again be in charge.
The enemy within ...
Shipping channels dotted with oil platforms. Ouch.
This will kill us.
I hate Obama and the democrats/marxists.
The democrats are passing country destroying bills like government healthcare, dream act, food police bill etc.
And Obama’s government agencies like the EPA and FCC are ruling by dictate bypassing the Congress and the people.
The EPA is not only banning drilling but will soon impose global warming regulations that will basically ban any new coal power plant , any new manufacturing plant in the whole U.S.A. , PROOF HERE: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2605230/posts .
Maybe he’s got a job waiting now that we didn’t want him.
Amendment: "Anything to #@$! America."
This should be the headline of EVERY media outlet on a daily basis. How long before patriots within the media, DC and the military add 2+2?
I know. It’s just infuriates me. But apparently the American populace is as stupid as nits.
WASHINGTON The Obama administration is rescinding its decision to allow offshore oil drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico and along the Atlantic Coast because of the BP oil spill, an administration official said Tuesday.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement had not been made, said that drilling would remain under a moratorium for those areas for at least the next five years, until stronger safety and environmental standards were in place.

Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), who has consistently pushed to restrict drilling in the eastern gulf, welcomed the news. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar called the senator Wednesday morning, according to Nelson spokesman Dan McLaughlin, but the two men did not speak yet because Nelson is chairing a hearing.
“Drilling off Florida’s Gulf coast is banned at least until 2022, under a 2006 law passed by Senator Nelson,” McLaughlin said. “The senator is pleased the White House has decided rightly to keep the area off-limits. He hopes Florida’s next governor and the Legislature similarly will commit to protecting the state’s tourism economy and unique environment.”

EPA not allowing any new drilling in the Gulf :
Industry leaders say they were hoping, at the very least, for a time table on when deepwater drilling will begin again, because even if the moratorium was lifted, if their permits aren’t approved, it’s only a paper victory.
“I think the reason there are very few permit applications pending is that the goalpost keeps moving. I mean, if the rules change every month, you’re never going to have a long list of permits pending because they constantly need to be pulled and re-done” says Vitter.
Salazar said he was encouraged by the progress but industry leaders, were not so encouraged. Saying they’ve lost faith in this administration.
As soon as we get an opportunity, we’re moving those assets overseas, we’re not sitting around game with this administration, we can’t afford to” says Todd Hornbeck of Hornbeck Offshore.

Ad Mod. — Please change the Title.
ONLY America cannot drill in the Gulf.
Obama gave $$$$$ to Soros and Chavez for drilling.
Charming.
If we don't vote dems out soon, they'll be nothing left worth fighting for...
He’s just guaranteed a democrat wipe-out in the Gulf states in 2012.
There has been drilling in the past in the eastern Gulf at what is called Destin Dome. Mostly natural gas and very little oil has been found to date. Not to say that the area has been fully explored.
