KENSINGTON, PA (NBC) - Authorities said that DNA has linked a man to two deaths and three other frightening assaults in one Philadelphia suburb.

Wednesday morning, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and Captain James Clark held a press conference about the "Kensington strangler."

Ramsey urged every victim of violence to come forward, even if his or her attacker doesn't resemble the police sketch of the suspect. And Clark warned residents to be extra vigilant and to walk in pairs.

The Philadelphia Police Department is examining data as far back as 10 years for past sexual predators.

“...frightening assaults in one Philadelphia suburb.”

Kensington is not a suburb of Philadelphia. It is a section of the city, a neighborhood. It is a decayed urban environment.

Kensington is home of “the badlands”. It is one of the largest heroin distribution points on the east coast. It is a dirty, ugly, crime-ridden, poop hole. Addicts, many of them prostitutes, everywhere. Heroin dealers at most street corners. It is the product of 60 years of complete DEMOCRAT rule in Philadelphia.
