So Obama's cousin Odinga was selling tanks to his buddy Omar al-Bashir the President-Butcher of Sudan with the help of Ukraine. Oh, and the United States knew about it. The racket got busted when Somali pirates hijacked the ship carrying the tanks.

It says the tanks were sent to South Sudan. Are you sure they went to the Muslim butcher, and not to the Christian/animist freedom fighters in the south?
I don’t doubt that that may be the case. But the article isn’t really clear.

Back in the mid 1980’s there were several tanks on lowboy trailers going thru Kitale, Kenya enroute to Turkana in northern Kenya and probably on to Sudan.
They had the turrets reversed and were covered with tarps.
However, a tank covered with a tarp looks like nothing else in the world other than “a tank covered with a tarp”!
Looks like nothing changes...
