I need to quit spending some much time on Free Republic and read to the end of a small pile of books I have picked up over the last year.
Nite.

I have similar feelings now that I am officially retired and will be getting SS later this month. But E. You have been great in all you have published here for a long time.
So I for one applaud your many postings of things of substance, that really should get the eyes of all.
Choose to slow down and just ping as you see fit. You don't have to feel like the things many here feel important will fall through the cracks.
Others will pick up the slack. We have such a diverse membership. So many willing to post things after they have read elsewhere of things and versions of issues we mostly feel are important.
Take some time to relax and catch up on the books and other things. If you still feel driven to publish new articles then so much the better. But don't feel obligated. This site will go on, and distribute tons of important info to it's membership and those that on the sideline benefit from.
Perhaps an experiment. See how many things you would post will still be posted if you where to slow down. Most here know the score. You should not feel you are letting anyone down. Do have a great upcoming day. George

Ease up and take some breaks Ernest. Dwelling on politics constantly can really get you down. I look at Drudge’s page each day, often shake my head and go do something else. Constant bad news becomes very depressing.
Enjoy the Christmas season for a bit.
