While the courts continue to debate the legality of same-sex marriage, the battle over gay civil rights is moving into another arena: the classroom.
State Sen. Mark Leno, a San Francisco Democrat, introduced legislation this week that would amend the state education code, mandating that LGBT history be included in the curriculum of public schools. The bill dubbed the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful Education Act calls for accurate and fair portrayal of LGBT historical figures who have contributed to shaping social and political issues across the nation.
Leno said a shift in education policy would have a ripple effect by curbing widespread bullying of gay teens.

So are they going to then teach of the misery, perversion, corruption and disease of such a lifestyle?

I know.... Never should use gay and behind in the same sentence.
Idiots on parade.
Their state is falling into the sea, and into bankruptcy, they have been overrun and conquered by a foreign power and they have elected a Klingon as governor, and THIS IS WHAT THEY WORRY ABOUT?
Once upon a time, there was Sodom and Gomorrah.

Get out while you can... GOD’S wrath is coming.

Not only all of what you said, but, I think I saw a thread earlier today that Brown said CA’s economy was worse than he thought and that they may have to cut school spending by 25%. Yet, some idiot wants to push the gay agenda in school.
Okay, let’s start with Alexander the Great and make our way up to Richard III....................
Yes. Because it's all they have the mental capacity to address; feel-good crap.
That would be TOO fair
Those who can not procreate must indoctrinate.
Those who can not procreate must indoctrinate.
Some would consider me a homophobic where I see gay and lesbianism as perverse and against His Word.
But schools are to prepare students for the outside world and since their movement will continue to grow, exposure in the class from an unbiased study ‘might’ be good.
It all depends on what grade level and how its taught.
That’s about it.
Put all the gay men on an island in the Atlantic and all the gay women on an island in the Pacific. In less than 100 years.... no more gay history.
What makes you think the study would be unbiased?
