The death tax is wrong, it’s simply wrong. You work your whole life, build a little pile of cash, you want to pass it on to your family, but instead, a bunch of strangers need to be paid off first? How is that fair? What gives them the right to my money? They got their cut every step of the way while I was building my little pile. All taxes are wrong! Import duties are perhaps the least bad, and property taxes are the worst. I don’t need money when I’m dead, so I think the inheritance tax is not as bad as the income or sales tax. If it was up to me I’d lower the income and sales taxes before I lowered the inheritance tax.
