First attempt to slime/diminish Haley?

The Governor has nothing to do with this. MDOT is a wholly corrupt bunch from top to bottom.

Actually, this kind of crap is going on all over the country, only in much larger amounts.

In Oregon, we have the CRC that wants to build a monstrosity of a bridge that will cost humongous amounts (many, many billions) of money.

They, thus far, have spent over $120 million to “study” it.

Redneck space race, indeed...until you are up to speed on what is going on in the rest of the country, and until you lose your bigoted view of the south...

You should be ashamed.

You sir or madame are a complete ignoramus.

Agree. I am an engineering consultant. My hour rate is higher than $100, but so are the "government" and "lawyer" overheads. If my services are not required prior to a failure don't be surprised if my rate doubles after something blows up or falls down.

My invoices are separate from my deliverables and only reference a P.O. There is nothing at all unusual from the info provided about this "consultant".

I suppose there is also nothing unusual about some of the ignorance displayed on this thread.

For private consulting I start at well over $100/hour. Dealing with gubmint, I’d better triple it, or I will lose my shirt.

The fee isn’t the issue. The issue is, MS was not perusing a railroad during the time this guy was on the payroll.

First let me say I am sorry. I offended consultants who work for private industry. You do render a valuable service and are to be admired and rewarded for your efforts.

My spewing was aimed at those “consultants” who offer up biased opinions for tax payer funded institutions who hide behind the good name that folks like you have built.

There are real Consultants like you, but sorry there are “consultants” that steal your name for a political dollar.

Once again I was wrong in my post for not addressing that fact.

Oh, get your panties untwisted.

I is proud to be a red neck. And that’s partly because red necks are about the only “social class” of people to have any sense of humor left about their “social class” in this up tight politically correct society. There are several other reasons, all hidden in plain sight.

Well if a Mississippi railroad did not exist, Mississippi would have a hard time perusing it, wouldn’t it?

I think you mean pursuing, eh?

Okie dokie...my panties are untwisted. ;o)

However, you have to understand that I don’t live in the south anymore...I’m in Oregon.

I have to go home every now and then to get my regional humor back because it’s blame the south and the rednecks all the time out here.

BTW, they don’t know that they have true blue rednecks living amongst them. lol
