Arizona sheriff introduces all female chaing gang
A dozen women clad in black and white striped uniforms trudge across the barren earth of Arizona, their ankles clanking as they move in heavy iron chains.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who oversees the police force in Maricopa County, Arizona, which includes the city of Phoenix, has re-introduced chain gangs for women prisoners after an earlier experiment with men.
The female chain gang performs tasks including burying the dead in paupers’ graves and clearing wasteland in scorching heat over 100F (38C).
At night the women are not allowed to sleep inside, bedding down instead under surplus Second World War Army tents on tarmac outside Estrella Jail, where temperatures fall below freezing in winter.
Bianca Jazo, 29, a former bank teller with a five year-old son, was arrested after police found drug paraphernalia in her car.
Wielding a shovel on a sun baked patch of land outside Phoenix, she said: “Some people won’t leave their dogs out in this heat but they leave us out in it.

If the male chain gangs live and work in those conditions, the women should too. According to feminist dogma, “womyn” can do anything men can do. NOW should be pleased at the “progress”.

BTW: I've slept in "Second World War Army" tents above the Arctic Circle in the middle of winter and I never did anything wrong.

The libs love to whine about Sheriff Joe, but avoiding jail is one of the simplest things on earth to accomplish - don’t commit any crimes - but that would involve personal responsibility and we can’t be having that, can we?
It’s probably a dry heat. The sheriff needs to send them down to Mississippi for the summer to work on a chain gang. I bet they’d love Arizona after that. The humidity in MS is usually the same as the temperature in the summer.

Phoenix has its own police dept as do Mesa, Tempe and all the other cities in the Valley of the sun. I do wish these idiots would get things right.

Our troops do it all the time. Heck people go golfing in that kinda weather in some places.

The Washington County Tennessee sheriff has had female inmate labor gangs for a while now. I’ve seen them collecting trash on the interstate.
