This is certainly very odd.
Well I do believe that’s possible as I’ve seen authorites use fireworks to rid flocks of nusance birds from buildings. I worked at a huge mall where large flocks of birds would lite. You’d leave work and see the sky black with them. They set off fireworks from the mall roof throughout the day...all Mall employees were informed so we wouldn’t be alarmed at the sounds of the “bombs” going off...which is what they sounded like throughout the day. More than a few of these pests died.
The commission said that New Year’s Eve revellers shooting off fireworks in the area could have startled the birds from their roost and caused them to die from stress.
Oh, common. You know how it is ever 4th of July. First we shoot up the fireworks, then we duck and cover from all the falling fowl, then we eat.
