It looks like President Barack Obama has a lot of work to do if he wants to regain the support of his partys liberal wing. Leftists express concern that he will abandon their views on Social Security in exchange for support from Republicans in Congress on raising the debt ceiling, The Hill reports.
The worry intensified after Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., (pictured) told NBC Sunday, I will not vote for the debt ceiling increase until I see a plan in place that will deal with our long-term debt obligation starting with Social Security, a real bipartisan effort to make sure that Social Security stays solvent, adjusting the age, looking at means test for benefits.

Yep. It should die a natural death. It is a program past its prime and not up to date. A slow easing of it is the plan and let the young do better.
Works for me. Just give back to me what I and my employer have paid into it over the last 43 years.
Real friggin' simple.
