Amen. Public school students are not allowed to fail. They are passed up to the next grade. That’s why there are college students who can’t write a complete sentence.

My sister-in-law works at a public high school. They are not allowed to put any grade lower than a "C" on a student's report card. And no student ever officially drops out - they are either "withdrawn to homeschool" or.... "Returned to Mexico."
No Child Left Behind" is now "All Children Left Behind."
