Maybe hitting the suburbs would do it.

If it was me, and I really, really wanted to make people feel unsafe, I'd go after malls, community centers, schools, chirches, hospitals, etc etc etc.

Places people are familiar with, places where they generally feel safe. The fact that terrorists haven't done this speaks volumes for their incompetence, lack of understanding our culture, and general incapability.

Not that I'm complaining one bit, mind you. I figure that the number of real Islamic terrorists (not the big talkers, but those who would gladly perform an act) has got to be pretty low. And, with our forces disposing of them in large numbers in Iraq and Afghanistan....they've got to be getting pretty deep into their bench.

/rant off. IMHO, an attack on the DoT screams "PO'd DoT worker. Or maybe some schmoe who lost their license. Not "Muslim Terrorist". But I could be wrong.

I agree with you. But it’s not just the DOT - it’s the Governor also.

So, yes, it could be some whacko employee, or disgruntled citizen (i.e., car driver - although this is NOT the DMV specifically, and no where near it - I know the place) - or even a *gasp* “conservative” who absolutely hates the Dem/socialist/fascist control in this state.

Anyway, I really doubt it is Moslems here. Not that it’d surprise me.

Fox suggested thing were similar to other recent mailings which were tied to anarchist groups. Although I don’t know why they’d waste time on a mere region instead of national gov.

In the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia, public day markets are the most consistently bombed and shot up locations. Yesterday Governor Tazeer was killed while walking through a market. I have no doubt your projection of malls being targeted here is correct. Remember Salt Lake City.
