HELENA - Montana lawmakers will be asked to approve a bill with bipartisan support that would set up vote-by-mail elections for all federal, state and local elections in Montana in 2012, Secretary of State Linda McCulloch said Wednesday.

"Vote-by-mail elections increase voter participation, enhance voter protection and save taxpayer money," said McCulloch, a Democrat and the state's chief election officer.

Besides McCulloch, others on the working group were representatives of the Montana League of Rural Voters, Montana Disability Rights, Montana Conservation Voters, Montana Association of Clerks and Recorders, Forward Montana, Montana Women Vote and Montana's sovereign Indian nations. Election administrators participating were from Blaine, Gallatin, Missoula, Pondera and Yellowstone counties.

According to Soros' Secretary of State Project, Montana's Secretary of State Linda McCulloch was their hand-picked candidate who unseated the Republican incumbent in 2008.

All-mail voting is a way to increase dem turnout because it appeals to slackers and parasites who are too lazy to get off their duffs and vote in person. It's already done in OR and WA. It could be coming to your state, too.

Voting SHOULD always require some effort,as well as a means of being certain who cast the votes.

Voting should be accompanied by the showing of identification.

No mail voting. Every time someone votes, they need to be forced to submit a 4473 style document for a NICS style background check.

If it’s good enough for exercising your Right to own a gun, it’s good enough to exercise your Right to vote.

If you can’t accept a background check to submit a ballot, you have no grounds to demand one for owning a gun.

“HELENA - Montana lawmakers will be asked to approve a bill with bipartisan support that would set up vote-by-mail elections for all federal, state and local elections in Montana in 2012, Secretary of State Linda McCulloch said Wednesday.”

That’s cool. So there is no political shenanigans, the sunday school class of Sister Maria will count the votes.

Vote by mail is the best. Still waiting for my 2010 ballot. The sample came in mid December so the real ballot should be here soon. I plan to vote against Harry Reid.

They aren’t paid as much attention to but these down ballot races for these state offices like Secretary of State are very important and we need to support conservative candidates for them, no matter how insignificant they may seem. There are several states with elections in 2011 with SOS on the ballot that Soros’ organization will likely target.

Thank God we defeated Jocelyn Benson in Michigan. She was the ultimate SOS project candidate.

Fortunately we elected Ruth Johnson who has made a name for herself fighting ACORN fraud and exposing the fake tea party here in Michigan.

You’ll like this ad from Ruth Johnson who won the SOS race here in Michigan. She went right after the corruption and the connection to Soros of Jocelyn Benson.

Montana will be good:

Year House Senate
2011 68 Republican, 32 Democrat = 100
28 Republican, 22 Democrat = 50

My wife is a native Montanan and I have been a resident for 40 years and have seen the horrible infestation of this state by liberals like the SOS. Montana is no longer a great place to live because of the incredible increase in population by the limp wristed latte sipping f-—cking liberals. At least I saw Montana when it was a great place.

Stay away from ‘vote by mail.’ Sure, it’s convenient and voter turnout increases but so do the opportunities for fraud. Remember the Gregoire fiasco in Washington State? You too could have something just as good.

You're preaching to the choir :) I live in WA State. I know firsthand about the sham of all-mail voting.

Good Idea.

Doesn’t surprise me that Oregon is as “blue” as it is, we have mail in ballots here.

I like absentee ballots but I am a registered voter and the registrar of voting in my town knows me personally.

I think, however with the voter fraud that has been occuring the faster a law is passed that picture id and proof of citizenship will be required to vote, the better our country will be.

It opens the door to outright fraud and the stealing of elections.
