That’s a good question. I wonder if we could get through it without violence. Sarah Palin is beloved by conservatives. Her entry into the national political arena gave us hope that we will see another Ronald Reagan in our time. (This time in a skirt?)

Speaking for myself only, in the past two years, the far left has driven me to the edge numerous times. I’ve been ready to head to D.C. to remove them from office time and again. As a Texan, I have far less patience for their horsesh*t than most. I feel obligated to my children to preserve our legacy of individual freedoms. And if I have to do that by force, well, so be it.

Since the attempted assassination of President Reagan, the far left has advanced into our territory. They continue to take ground, continue to insert the government into our business in the name of social justice. I believe we have gotten to the point that an attempt on Sarah Palin would provoke a response.

Sometimes one must draw a line and stand firm. The Founders knew it. They drew a line. Where is our line?

Have we experienced a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing invariably the same object of reducing us under absolute despotism?

Perhaps, but we’re still in the time of being disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right ourselves by altering and abolishing those forms to which we are accustomed.

(wow, those guys could write, now, couldn’t they?)
