Ex-GOP Aide Sought to Borrow Train Fare at Law Firm Hours Before His Body Was Found at Landfill

A disoriented former aide to multiple Republican presidential administrations seen wandering around Wilmington, Del., in the days before his body was discovered at a landfill late last month made a stop at a local law firm, seeking to borrow train fare north.

However, when a receptionist at Connolly Bove Lodge and Hutz went to find someone to speak with John Wheeler III, he disappeared, reports the Wilmington News Journal.

The law firm is located in the Nemours building, where the Yale Law School graduate and defense consultant was caught on security footage wandering around in an apparent state of confusion hours later, on the evening before his body was spotted on a trash hauling vehicle at a local landfill on Dec. 31...

The power of a mirror image lies in the fact that it shows us as others see us. Confronting such an image often leads us to peer inside ourselves: "Oh, that image isn't the real me . . . or, "I look so sad . . . and that is how I feel." Reflections thus reveal us to each other and to ourselves.

With great power, the images in this book reveal Americans to themselves, in faces that express pride of service, woundedness, grief, hope, and commitment to live up to the best that was in the lives of the Americans who gave their lives in Vietnam.

he was bi-polar. had big fight with wife who left for their
nyc apt. he didn’t take meds, had psychotic episode,
and crawled into garbage bin and fell asleep, which led
to sad and untimely death. and a heck of a mystery.

his wife had not talked to him in three days so she had
no idea he was disoriented. anyway, story will
eventually come out just like whatever happened in
garage to dc lobbyist ashley turton.

well, i believe info i received. i had originally been
answering someone on thread who was asking
for speculations and that was mine. i do think case
will be resolved and perhaps autopsy will reveal
that he was murdered and my info is wrong.
