Tom Brokaw on Thursday said that as a result of Arizona's loose gun laws, he'd be nervous going into a bar or restaurant in that state on a Saturday night. Such was uttered during a discussion about gun control on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" (video follows with transcript and commentary): TOM BROKAW: Here is why I think there are a lot of Glocks being sold: because gun owners are worried that they're going to be outlawed. That's what happened when President Obama first took office is that people were buying ammunition and storing it in underground bunkers...

Hey Tom, is that a gun in your pocket or are you happy to see us?
Funny, I’d be nervous going into any of several forms of liberal meetings from the possibility of shrapnel wounds from all the ass kissing.
Good! Don’t go into a bar or restaurant in Arizona. No one cares.
I wouldn’t be worried, I’d have a piece.
Methinks Tom would be nervous going anywhere in ‘flyover country’ out amongst the commoners, guns or not.
I carry a gun ‘cause a cop is too heavy.
Tom you big pu**y.
Boy, NBC doesn't even try to hide the leftist bias in the least anymore.
There are two types of people. Those that don’t feel safe with a gun around. And those that don’t feel safe when there isn’t a gun around.
Good, you Commie propagandist. You’ve done enough damage already.
Just be content with sneering condescendingly at us out here in Flyover, from your comfort zone in the Boston to Beltway Metroplex, among your fellow clueless, self-hating, liberal needledicks.
.
Excellent! Stay away Tom, we don't want to see you there anyway.
When a person is threatened by the free will of others, it’s a good sign that they’re overdue in the searching of their own soul.
The propagandist Brokaw should be nervous any time he is around real Americans.
Does that mean he wouldn’t be nervous going into a bar anywhere in Washington DC or New York which has very strong gun control laws?
I like my nice little rural farming community where most of the homeowners have firearms and many also carry same. Now Tom this may seem odd to you as well but at least two of my neighbors who carry are also preachers.
Oh and Tom you're far more likely to get knifed or cut in a bar than shot. But then again what very, very, little drinking I do is at home anyway. The times I did frequent bars I had enough common sense to look around at the enviroment and if things just didn't feel right leave. That was a true for USA venues and European ones. I never ran into any serious problems that way. What type of bars do you frequesnt any Tom? LOL. :>}
I’d be nervous watching Brokaw side with Terrorists when he is supposed to report the news.
Sorry Mr. Brokaw, your comment is long overdue, you already should have considered Arizona dangerous for the rate at which people get killed for living too close to the area where the illegal immigrants of the violent/unsavory type march through unimpeded. You should have mentioned that it’s dangerous because a guy could go through a line of serious threats to the sheriff and not get dragged in up to the point that he opened fire on a crowd of people in Tuscon. If suspicious people like Loughner get away with who knows what kind of threat.
As for guns, someone could kill me with his/her bare hands for all I know.
Seriously, Mr. Brokaw needs to get off his teleprompter, targeting computer, or whatever else he has for at least a minute, not because I think he’s a great reporter, because it’s one thing that would probably be good for him, even if for a minute.
