This is the second such incident in the same district within 2 days.
Nobody was reportedly injured, but some property was damaged.
A grenade exploded outside a Sunni Muslim cemetery in the same impoverished district on Friday evening, without causing any casualties or damage.
Some reports pointed to Hezbollah as being behind a terror campaign to assume power in Lebanon.
Hezbollah reportedly is exerting pressure on the Tripoli MPs to support its candidate for the premiership.
Hezbollah also reportedly exerted a lot of pressure on MP Walid Jumblatt to force him to side with their premiership candidate according to National Liberal Party leader MP Dori Chamoun who was elected on MP Walid Jumblatt's list during the last election...
Tripoli has in the past few years been the scene of intense clashes between Sunni supporters of Prime Minister Saad Hariri Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood and Alawite Muslims ( same religion as Syrian president Bashar al Assad) loyal to the Iranian and Syrian Hezbollah-led alliance in the Jabel Mohsen neighborhood.
