Has President Obama had a miraculous Paul of Tarsus like conversion while traveling his own road to Damascus? A true Obama moment? According to Rasmussen, his favorable vs. unfavorable ratings have been in the positive range. The country is broke and getting broker by the minute, but so what? There were some leg tingles when he announced a forty-five billion dollar trade deal with China during President Hu’s visit. However, very little was actually new business: “It’s largely an amalgamation of agreements that had already been inked, including Boeing’s $19 billion airplane deal.” Oh well. He has also “appointed GE Chairman Jeffrey Immelt to head his newly created Council on Jobs and Competitiveness,” the successor to Paul Volcker’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Oh well again; Immelt may be a crony capitalist and the poster child for corporate welfare but it’s still awesome; the country desperately needs councils and czars and the more the merrier.
The world looks forward anxiously to President Obama’s State of the Union message when ambience will trump substance and there will be at least some attempts to show unity. It won’t be like this event at the opening of the Scottish Parliament in 2004 where the members all joined hands and sang Auld Lang Syne and seemed to be enjoying it. The show of unity at the State of the Union address should be spectacular in any event. It will also provide a great comedy routine to amuse our enemies abroad, and a welcome respite from harsh partisan rhetoric for those in the United States. Can President Obama really speak out of both sides of his mouth unaided, or will his ventriloquist be required? How about a split-screen teleprompter?

Say and do what is needed to get re-elected; then shift back to being lefty because he will not be held accountable again to the voting masses...being his tenure will be up. =.=
Obama is an agenda-driven ideologue. He cannot shift toward the center. It’s not in him. He doesn’t know how.
He’s not shifting right. He’s just trying to stay in office the last two years of his term, and not get thrown out.
He’s going to sacrifice the next two years posing as a “centrist” in order to get himself four years as a lame duck, out of control Marxist.
His media arm is desperately trying to remake his image.

Saul Alinsky advocated stealth marxist infiltration into institutions, Obama trained in this. Concerning?
The seditious role of the community organiser was developed by an extreme left intellectual called Saul Alinsky. He was a radical Chicago activist who, by the time he died in 1972, had had a profound influence on the highest levels of the Democratic party. Alinsky was a ‘transformational Marxist’ in the mould of Antonio Gramsci, who promoted the strategy of a ‘long march through the institutions’ by capturing the culture and turning it inside out as the most effective means of overturning western society. In similar vein, Alinsky condemned the New Left for alienating the general public by its demonstrations and outlandish appearance. The revolution had to be carried out through stealth and deception. Its proponents had to cultivate an image of centrism and pragmatism. A master of infiltration, Alinsky wooed Chicago mobsters and Wall Street financiers alike. And successive Democratic politicians fell under his spell.
His creed was set out in his book ‘Rules for Radicals’ – a book he dedicated to Lucifer, whom he called the ‘first radical’. It was Alinsky for whom ‘change’ was his mantra. And by ‘change’, he meant a Marxist revolution achieved by slow, incremental, Machiavellian means which turned society inside out. This had to be done through systematic deception, winning the trust of the naively idealistic middle class by using the language of morality to conceal an agenda designed to destroy it. And the way to do this, he said, was through ‘people’s organisations’.
Obama loves large corporations because they are easy to unionize...and they are easily enticed by his offers of crony capitalism.
But he hates small businesses and they are on the cutting edge of job creation and new business creation. He hates small businesses because they exist in a world in which excellence is the final judge (and as a socialist, excellence discriminates against slackers like himself).
No matter how much he may speak of jobs, he is destroying the foundation on which jobs must be built. When Obama says jobs, he means government jobs, green jobs, union jobs. He doesn't mean jobs which are the result of a vibrant and growing free market.
In Obama's mind, free market jobs are controlled by rich, white people who (he believes) fight to achieve excellence in products and services and fight for high productivity in manufacturing. Excellence is diametrically opposed to socialism and vice versa. Excellence is all about individual performance and that is the enemy of the collective, the group, and the state.

If this (can’t say it) is re-elected, I hate to see what our country will be like after he is free to destroy for four years. It will be ten times worse than these first 2 years.
