Ben Stein: Promises, Promises

During the run up to the recent Congressional elections, I was on Larry King Live with a super smart man whose name I have forgotten. Larry asked a smart question. The question was, "Is Barack Obama a better campaigner than a President?" One of the men on the panel said, "Of course he is. When he is campaigning, all he has to do is promise things. When he's President, he actually has to do things."

Stein is just wrong. Zero has probably done more THINGS as president to fundamentally change his nation than any leader since Mao or Lenin—maybe FDR and LBJ should be in there too. Granted, that was aided and abetted by a deeply radicalized congress.

But his goal now is to run out the clock until those changes are permanent—hence the moderation in tone. If they succeed, well, the clock has run out and the game is over.

Stein is right to criticize, but it’s hard for me to take Stein seriously. This is the ostensible “Republican conservative” who endorsed and contributed to Al Franken for Senate and slobbered all over Obama in 2008.

Idiot. Should stick to what he is best known for, namely narrating Clear Eyes ads. “Wow.”

You make a valid point, however, I submit that it is not obama who has forced these changes, but the mainstream media.

The MSM has an agenda that is totally in lockstep with obama's visions of the sugarplums of communism. Without this, obama would be sitting at his desk playint tic-tac-toe.

It is the willingness of this media - once called "American's Watchdog" - to turn away from questionable antics of the obama, and provide cover for him that has enabled all these changes.

A serious 4th estate would have already exposed obama's past, his origin of birth, his college records, and anything else needed to insure that America is not being taken for a ride in a Volt.

Those who run in the pack with obama are so intimidated by his willing accomplices in the media, that they, too, follow in lockstep.

Without the media, obama would be just a commuity organizer, with a big mouth, and no past.

Very good point! The only other option we have is to force him to resign or have him arrested by proving he is not eligible for the Office of the President. No, wait, we can’t have him to resign...that will leave his agenda intact! The only option, then, is to arrest him thus rendering his agenda to be Null and Void from Day One!

He has fundamentally shifted this country to the secular, humanist, communist model.

We were always headed that direction—he just set in the rules and regulations to clinch it.

No longer do our rights come from God. Whatever “rights” we have are man-made and have no connection with Natural Law where common sense comes from. There is no reason in our system anymore.

No longer are we free to raise our children with our religious beliefs....the schools and media will force the homosexual agenda worldview, which is the secular humanist paganism/atheism paradigm which will have the force of law and reeducation camps in military and schools. We have lost the battle of freedom of conscious in the military and schools and are allowing the massive Skinnerization of our children. We are allowing the psychological brainwashing and conditioning in our schools by not dismantling their system of programming good little (non) thinking Marxists.

We have to destroy the DOE if we are to have any future and freedom. Homeschool and dump the indoctrination centers. Ban the MTV type of glorification of everything that creates an uncivil society.

Read Cloning of the American Mind and you would NEVER allow any of your children into a “public” school or any private school that uses the same curricula which is designed to make the mind of your child a cesspool.....intentionally.
