It was progressive humanists. Obama is their god. Obama will let Egypt fall, just like Carter let Iran fall.

Same song, repeat first verse:
Well, our fearless leader is about to get what he wants, the Islamic Terrorists in power in all nations surrounding Israel. It is going to get nasty and all the blood will be on Øbama's hands!

Forget about Saudi. If Egypt goes, the Saud family will fall within 6 months at most, most probably 3.

The protests in Egypt are being driven by the April 6 youth movement, a group on Facebook that has attracted mainly young and educated members opposed to Mr Mubarak. The group has about 70,000 members and uses social networking sites to orchestrate protests and report on their activities. Useful idiots whose leaders will be be-headed by the Muslim Brotherhood if they do not submit to hardline Islamic rule. Coptic blood will flow freely in the streets - they should flee to Israel now and join forces for a strong Judeo-Christian state.

Don’t forget Obama was a CIA agent. His mother and family worked for the CIA.
His CIA mentors David Rockefeller and Zig Brzezenski helped topple the Shah of Iran.

Only if you consider getting 99% of the vote, *clean*.

The headline really isn’t supported by the story. All this sounds like is that the U.S. permitted a student to visit without notifying Egyptian authorities of his name, perhaps to prevent him from being persecuted. That doesn’t mean qw backed him or others, financially or otherwise, or that we were otherwise behind this uprising at all.

“a gov that represents them.”
Sure. In a very real sense that is what they are in the process of overthrowing.
They are not culturally capable of sustaining a western style democracy.

Ths 0bama administration is supporting the pro-Iarnian rebels in this affair. Look, I’m no fan of Hosni Mubarak but he is the leader over there and has supported the US in the past. I wonder what other governments around the world are thinking. The next time the USA needs help with anything, I betcha we don’t get it.
We need to overthrow 0bama and his band of thugs.

“It may not be a government we will like or will like us, but it is certainly possible for the people there to have a gov that represents them.”
You are correct - want another Iran under a Moslim whacko?
Oops - pardon the Moslim whacko redundancy.

The State Department is full of morons if they think a westerns style democracy will ever take hold in Egypt.
You nailed it. Of course, FR is filled with people that agree with Foggy Bottom and think that all of this is about "freedom" (pardon me while I vomit). The fact is, Islam is incompatible with democracy.

In answer to the Moslim Brotherhood issue:
Nuke them all, nuke them all,
The Sunni, the Shi’a, and all,
NUKE THEN ALL!
Islam is antithetical to, and irreconcilable with, America.

This is far to spontaneous to be planned.
This administration has been caught flatfooted.

The outcome of all of this will be a murderous, non-tolerant exact copy of the so-called “Islamic Republic of Iran”.
Anyone who is familiar with the world knows that there is no republic in Iran. As in Iran, there will be no tolerance of anything other than Muslims.
