The way to turn the GOP into a Conservative party is to elect Conservatives to Congress as we did in 2010

I remember the past GOP President, who not only grew the size of government and government spending, but celebrated Cinco De Mayo while a conga line of tens of millions entered illegally, during war time yet...

Listen, could you ping me when the new GOP dramatically reduces government spending and size and scope of the Federal Government and secures our lawless borders?

Like I said, you are repeating the David Axelrod talking points. If Axelrod were to pay someone to inhabit conservative political forums, they would be instructed to say EXACTLY what you're saying.

A 3rd party candidacy (from the right), guarantees Obama's victory.

When you send your contributions to the Obama Reelection Campaign, do you pay by check or credit card?

So your one of those party before principle people.

I am not a member of the Republican party, so I certainly don't put them ahead of anything. Oh wait, that's not true. I put them ahead of any Democrat. I despise Democrats and will never support them either directly or indirectly.

Are you that dense?

How is saying IF the dems changed to a freedom and liberty party saying I would vote for a socialist?

Geez take the wood out of your head. Party's change. at the present time they are the socialist party so they are a no-go which is what I also said.

Now twist that to make you point since smearing is all you got left.

I commend you Polybius, that was one long, passionate post...too bad it was wasted on me.

And too bad most Republican officeholders, Republican media/pundits, and even Repub voters are not as passionate about defeating the leftwing commies and their MSM who have had their way with the US for the last 40 years.

No, the Republican Party has been more concerned with kissing MSM and Democrat arse instead.

And any real battling they do is AGAINST Conservatives! They are marginalizing Conservatives on TV and in print daily.

Not to mention their historical handling of Conservatives who are being raped daily by the Dems and their media, ie, throwing them under the bus.

This has been going on for decades.

Why do you think there are so many Rinos in office? And so few Conservatives?

Because Republican voters put them there.

They put them there because those were the candidates who were “clean”, and untouched by the MSM. Those are the candidates that the RNC and Republican media/pundits defend.

And why are they clean and untouched?

Because they are NOT Conservative fighters.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Year after year.

“A 3rd party candidacy (from the right), guarantees Obama’s victory.”

That is exactly what these “conservative” 3rd party advocates on this forum are aiming for.

You are part of the problem, and will either never comprehend why, or you do understand what you are supporting and are an advocate for those who wish to see this country fail.

According to your philosophy, if Romney were to win the GOP nomination, you would vote for him simply because he is not Obama and is more “conservative” than Obama, and in my viewpoint there is little to no difference between the two as both are intent upon making sure that the government is the master of this country and that government is what determines our rights, freedoms and privileges.

In the end, I will never vote for a RINO, and I will never vote for the “lesser of two evils” ever again. If that choice insures that Obama or another marxist, or even a RINO, is the POTUS, then so be it. That will be what is necessary for those in this country who do not understand the damage done by voting for such vermin. They must see for themselves the consequences of their actions (votes) and must suffer from those actions and must simply learn the hard way.

Once that lesson has finally been learned, and a hundred million or more Americans are slaughtered in the next American Civil War, perhaps this country will be able to include in it's revised constitution the outlawing of marxist ideologies, and a ban on the practice of politicians promising to take from group A to give to group B in order to secure group B's vote (if you get my meaning). There are other fixes that need to be made, but IMO, it will take an enormous amount of bloodshed in another civil war to fix the problem we've allowed ourselves to get into at this point in time.

I hope I'm wrong.

So you want to explain to me how mitt is not a socialist since he voted to mandate the governmental takeover of the MA healthcare?

I'll wait for the answer....this should take some time....

And once you answer that question then explain how voting for Mitt the socialist will be any different than voting for Obama the socialists.

Maybe you belong to the “no labels” party since you are having a hard time defining what certain GOP candidates stand for.

Which is why the MSM will be doing its very best to nominate Romney or another McCain-type RINO and limp-wristed sell-out.

Agree good post.

I think many of these “conservative” 3rd party advocates are really paid democrat Soros propagandists.

Because advocating a 3rd party would guarantee an Obama reelection. And the U.S. cannot survive that imo.

I hate socialists I will never vote for one no matter which party they are from. you seem to think the dems=socialists and the GOp=conservatives. I wish that was true it would make things a lot easier but truth is that while the majority of the Dem party is now populated with socialists the gop has its fair share also.

voting for a GOP socialist is the same as voting for a dem socialist.

When was the last time you voted for a winning candidate? I would guess a very, very long time.

"So you want to explain to me how mitt is not a socialist since he voted to mandate the governmental takeover of the MA healthcare?"

Why do you keep bringing up Mitt Romney? Do you have some kind of crush on they guy? Is this a sexual thing with you?

Maybe you belong to the “no labels” party since you are having a hard time defining what certain GOP candidates stand for.

Right, because I'm the guy who says respect the will of the Republican primary voter, and support the REPUBLICAN nominee, you think I'm the "no labels" guy. Good lawd, your logic is fascinating, but not in a good way.

Honestly, it's difficult to believe that someone posting on a political forum could be so politically obtuse, but there you are. 3rd party nominations (when the ends of the political spectrum) can have a deleterious effect on the down-ticket candidates. So, not only would you be destroying the GOP Presidential nominee, but you'd make it very difficult for the GOP to capture the Senate, and less likely that they would hold the House. Again of course, all things that David Axelrod is praying for every night.

It's called political science, but it's not physics. Some of your statements however, test that.

Mitt Romney is whatever he decides he needs to be after he gets up in the morning and sees which way the wind is blowing!

I don't trust people like that, they always betray you!

Interesting question....It’s Cinco De Mayo during the first year of President Palin’s term...do you honestly think she would do anything different on that day than President Bush did???...magritte

They are independent numbers. The headline just notes that however many support Palin, they are the least loyal to the party. It doesn’t say how many support Palin, just that whoever said they did were also willing to threaten not to support the other candidates at a higher rate.

That will be popular here; if the same numbers came out for a moderate republican candidate, like say Rudy Giuliani, the same folks would scream bloody murder about the “backstabbing RINOs” who won’t support a conservative who wins the party’s nomination.

In this case, we find that the more moderate a candidate is perceived by the conservatives, the more loyal the candidate’s supporters are to the party’s nominee, whoever that is.

Perhaps you should start a "Freepers for Obama" ping list and you and others of your ilk can compare notes, volunteer for your local ACORN clone organization, and do some community organizing.

Kiss off.
