In the meantime, I encourage you to work diligently for the conservative candidate of your choice

If you had bothered to read my other posts on the subject, you would have bothered to carry this matter as far as you have.

I would love to be able to supplant the Republican Party with a Conservative Party. But, its a very tricky thing to do. If it happens, it will be tied to a monumental political and national crisis. Such a storm may well be looming on the horizon, its too early to tell.

But, if it comes it will be built upon the wings of the unholy alliance between the Democrat Party and the public employees unions. This organized criminal conspiracy is going to drive local and states governments into bankruptcy and may well give us the chance to destroy the Democrat Party and stand up a true Conservative Party. Reelecting Obama will not contribute to the fulfillment of this vision.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

The reason that she is so good at rallies and fundraising is that the well informed among us recognize that she has a full grasp of what the job is, and will follow through.

The fact that the elitist illuminists in the media, and both parties are rabidly fighting her just puts the exclammation point on the above.

I accept your point, but remember mine: if you fail to vote for the Republican nominee for President in November, 2012, then you are supporting the reelection of Mr. Obama. When the time comes, remember what I have said.

ROFL....If not for Palin there would have been no 2010 victory for the gOP.

Good grief, if you really believe that, then you deserve a good swift rear-end kicking from the dozens upon dozens of solid, conservative candidates who worked their tails off to get elected on their own merits, abilities, and hard work. I see no reason to denigrate these people, just to hold Sarah Palin up on some false pedestal.

Your hatred blinds you.

What "hatred"? It's "hatred" now to think there are other conservative candidates besides her, and that we would do well as a party and as an ideology to measure everybody's merits, rather than just pre-ordaining someone at this stage in the game?

Are you serious?

God help us if people like you actually have any influence in the decision-making process.

I don't think the nastiness began with the pro Palin folks.

The problem isn't with Palin - I'm sure she's a nice enough lady. As with many primary contenders from days gone by, the problem is not with the candidate, but the fact that many of her most vocal supporters are an unhealthy combination of being morons and socially-autistic jerks.

Ah yes, the old "GOP establishment". Personally, I have no idea what that is, who they are, and where they can be found.

Personally, I think the "GOP establishment" argument, as it is formulated by many folks, is nothing more than excuse to be lazy and politically inept. We get to sit around, cheerlead for a candidate without actually doing anything substantive for them, and then when the Rudy McRomney candidate wins, we get to whine and moan and complain about having a RINO as a candidate, followed by a healthy dose of bluster about how we're never gonna vote for a RINO again and we're gonna stop off like a five year old and vote for some third party candidate or another. Since the "GOP establishment" snookered us again. By, you know, actually working to get their candidate nominated.

“whore like Palin”

Any credibility you may have had with your nonsensical intellect was totally lost in that one portion of your statement. How dare you call Palin any kind of whore?
You insult her...you insult us all...all of us women who have fought the prejudice and the bigotry against us and
overcame it in an effort to help our country stay the
greatest. How dare you!!!

I like Palin. But Palin isn't the only game in town. There's Bachmann, DeMint, and others. The important point, IMO, is that if the Party wants to win, then the Party needs to pay a bit more attention to principle this time than it usually does.

Watch it, dude, with talk like that, you might just be branded a Palin hater and accused of having PDS!

Nearly half of the Republican Primary voters who support Sarah Palin say they are at least somewhat likely to vote for a third-party candidate if she does not win the GOP presidential nomination

and thereby guarantee the reelection of Obama.

I hope she doesn't run.

If you support her, your comments about her accomplishments would sound very different.

If your opposition to Palin is something you prefer to conceal, let’s take a look at that and call it what it is.

Actually, I'm neutral toward her. She's definitely not my first choice, but she definitely not my last choice. She has many good points, but - and let's be HONEST here, people - she also has some bad points, which include an apparent tendency to not stick to it when the going gets rough, and her McCain-like position on amnesty and illegal immigration. These are true, regardless of whether people want to blind themselves to them and pretend like they don't exist.

And further, YOU - nor anyone else - don't have any business demanding that I "take a stand for or against" Sarah Palin. In fact, YOU don't really have any business demanding jack diddly from me. So YOU can kindly feel free to take a long walk off a short pier, if you're going to be a presumption git with me.

I don’t know about you but I am ending my interest in this particular posting as it seems to have become a soapbox for some fools....i.e......Titus Quinctius Cincinnatus. So, goodbye all....or, as Todd Palin’s family would say,
