Hate to be the historian here, but the SS was the Party’s army. The SA WAS the party, and grew up from grassroots hooliganism. The SS was deliberately created to carry out the wishes of Hitler and his buddies. Hitler even called it the military wing of the NSDAP.

The SA begat the SS, I realize that. The democrat fascists realize it, too and want the mass first from which they would no doubt derive their own specialists as well.
