WikiLeaks cables: US agrees to tell Russia Britain's nuclear secrets
The Telegraph ^ | February 4, 2011 | Matthew Moore

Posted on 02/05/2011 7:15:07 AM PST by Matthew James

The US secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.

Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.

Is there any ally Obama will not betray? Is there any enemy he will not appease?

Obama is amazing. Simply amazing.

The guy has no conscience, nothing stands in his way to selling out our allies and us.

Two more years of this, The Democrat party obviously stands behind him, I don’t hear them complaining, nor for that matter the Republicans are quiet and watching this sellout also.

Ask yourself this question.... “Why do you think the russian would ask for such an out of your mind request? Unless they either new before hand he was willing to betray our closest friends, or that Obama offered it to begin with?” For Putin to have that confidence to ask such a thing is all the measurable you need to know about Obama. In either case it is complete and other treason.

Great Britain has been our staunchest ally for most of a century and supported the US when other countries wouldn’t. To betray them in such an underhanded way just so Obama can say he got a deal with the Russians is sickening. Obama has no loyalty to this country or its allies. Imagine the howls from the MSM and congressional Democrats if Bush had done this...he would have been impeached with plenty of Republicans voting for his impeachment. However with Obama the MSM and Congressional RINOs will say and do nothing.

It would appear that since 1998 the government of the US has been a rather untrustworthy ally. So much for the Kenyan Communist raising our stature in the world...and thank you Wikileaks.

BO hates Britain as his Communist African father did, blaming the English for the pathetic failure of African nations. BO takes every opportunity to stick it to the Brits, and the Brits better start sounding off about his betrayals of the former “special relationship” the USA had with England.

On the contrary, things like this drive the tea parties - and are what has kept the events well attended. Real information that matters.

I expect when the weather warms back up in late march we will be having political rallies all across the country again. And they are working.

Hmmm...won't protect our border. Exhibits a reckless indifference towards foreign policy matters. Forwards a domestic energy policy that can only be described as openly hostile to our national interests. Facilitates counterproductive economic, and highly corrosive fiscal policies. Now he betrays a key ally in the NATO alliance, simply to mollify the Russians. There's a bear in the woods. Tossing him donuts merely whets his appetite. Impeachment followed by immediate removal from office. It's the right thing to do.
