READ THIS !! I am a 24 year veteran of the military. I am 57 years old and have been through more than one war defending the freedoms we all enjoy. I am shaking with anger as I type this. In fact, I cant recall a time in my life when I have been angrier than I am now. You have canceled the appearance of Sarah Palin - a true patriot if ever there was one. Why? Because a few left-wing nuts are saying mean things about her or people who support her (like ME and my entire family). WHAT COWARDS!! WHAT GUTLESS, MISERABLE, SNIVELING COWARDS!! You should be ashamed to call yourselves Americans! And let me be clear don't you dare think that it is Governor Palin who is somehow the root of my anger it is your organization and your organization alone that bears the responsibility for my feelings. Your lame rationale is just that LAME!
Sarah Palin (and her family) has endured completely baseless and unfair smearing and personal attacks by people who are nothing more than socialists and statists (and worse) who want to fundamentally "transform" our country (and some of them are Republicans). Someone like Palin comes along and speaks truth to these very evil people, speaks about our founding principles, speaks about smaller, less intrusive government as our Founders envisioned, speaks about the greatness of "We The People," and the left wants to destroy her at all cost. Why? Because she threatens the grip their bony fingers have on power and control in this country.
What you have done by canceling Sarah is to say to these totally evil people: You win!! You have sent a message that all the left needs to do is continually throw out lies and smears that have no basis in fact whatsoever (like the media onslaught trying to pin the Arizona shootings on Sarah with ZERO evidence), and people like you and your organization will cower in fear and silence the voices of people like Sarah Palin, voices that desperately need to be heard in a country that is going to hell in a hand basket under the current Constitution-hating, people-ignoring administration.
You hold yourselves out as supporting military families? You should take a poll of those who are now or have served in the military and ask US how we feel about Sarah Palin! You will find that a majority of the military love and respect her and feel like a slap in her face is a slap in our face! We are her family and we get angry when our family is unfairly mistreated. I hope I have not been unclear in this communication!
