SAN FRANCISCO: The naked truth about nudity in the Castro

Debating nudity with the naked guys in the Castro is like playing tennis against a brick wall. No matter what you send over the net, the return is always the same:
It is your fault.
You are the one who is offended, who is fretting about what 5-year-olds will think. They are free and natural. You are prudish and intolerant.
The nudie boys, who live in the Castro, can carry on this discussion for hours to push their organized cause - the Free Body Culture movement - a mumbo-jumbo philosophy about making San Francisco safe for our repressed nude selves.
Whatever.
The bigger issue is the Castro needs to decide if it is a neighborhood or a theme park. A few years ago there was outrage over tourist buses stopping at the top of Castro Street and sending paying customers to check out "the gays." It was offensive. When some residents said so, the tour buses stopped.
While tourism is still big business in the Castro, encouraging the Free Willy Brigade (who readily pose for photos with tourists) to represent the neighborhood is a step back to old, misguided stereotypes.
Letting the nudists protest without being challenged ignores the reality that the Castro has evolved to a place that now includes parents pushing strollers.

Isn’t “present” day morality all based on consent between adults?

I read the piece to say that the sicko perverts are being finally challenged by homos with Conservative values with kids. This should be fun to watch the Left eat itself. Do they want to sell everyone on the canard that gays are just normal people or do they want naked queens wandering around to prove a point. I blew through the Castro on a trip to San Fransicko once and laughed at the stupidity of the whole place.

It occurs to me that a liberal application of pepper spray would sort this right out.

I hear there is a fair sized asteroid heading this way that stands a fair chance of impacting the earth somewhere.
Perhaps NASA can put a lander on it with a guidance system...

Never mind the Castro. San Francisco needs to decide whether it’s a city or a theme park.

They sound like a bunch of immature, emotionally under-developed, losers who are so monumentally narcissistic that they are simply unable to comprehend why everyone is not as fascinated by, and fixated on, their sex organs as THEY are.

Can't help but think that the fastest way to win the argument with these naked nut jobs involves a BB gun.
Quiet deniability and hilarious on Youtube.
