John Semmons (I think that is the spelling) is well known on FR for his...er...satire, which is sometimes so close to reality as to be indistinguishable.
More than once, I have (as have others) got completely worked up about about some “article” posted, when in actuality, it was pointed satire.
Now, when I get an emotional response from a thread, the first thing I do I look to see if he was the originator.

No offense taken, FRiend. I just didn’t recognize the name, and without experience with the individual in question it was hard for me to recognize where you were going with that.
I am HOPING the “article” is poppycock. After all, consider the source. But it’s one of those things that I think we should know about early on, just in case it ends up being factual. And, frankly, I wouldn’t put anything past the USGOV under Zero.
