I used to have ping lists for various “subjects” but it got me in trouble when I tried to merge them into a single ping list for any “thread of interest” to me. So I now only have ONE very large ping list and will generally only ping folks on threads that I start for whatever reason, or when I read something and think to myself.... hmmm I think I might want to give this thread some “exposure”... Occasionally I will get a FReeper that reads something that they don’t want to hear and rather than close their eyes and stick their fingers in their ears and scream LA LA LA LA I don’t see this and I don’t hear this LA LA LA LA... they complain that I am spamming them and refuse to remove them from my “ping list”... I am pretty sure I have managed to remove everyone who does not wish to read anything I write.... LOL
