WASHINGTON (AP) -- If the U.S. captures top al-Qaida leaders Osama Bin Laden or Ayman al-Zawahiri, they would likely be sent to the Guantanamo Bay military prison, CIA Director Leon Panetta told senators Wednesday.
This suggests that, given the choice, President Barack Obama would not try the men in the U.S. court system, opting instead for the Bush administration's policy that the president has long criticized.

As much as I would like to see osama at gitmo, i’d much more like to see him about six feet under gitmo.
It's better for everyone just to shoot on sight, and be done with it.

Naah. Why doesn’t Obama just pay his pal in Bermuda a few tens of millions to take bin Ladin, like he did with those Somali terrorists who are now no doubt lolling on the beach—if they haven’t left to get back to the terrorist zone again.
I assume that's the case, since I haven't heard otherwise in the media or from any lefties.
I would not consider the summary execution of Osama bin Laden to be murder any more than the Israelis’ targeted killing of terrorists was murder.
They will never see Gitmo....:-)

Can you imagine the money which could be made if we charged for viewing these high caliber terrorist animals in the Gitmo Zoo? We could pay down some of our gazillion dollar debt.

The corpse should be paraded through the WTC district of Manhattan, preserved in pork fat and wrapped in pigskin, then attached to a small nuke to be dropped on Mecca.
