CNN's Anderson Cooper interviewed Rep. Bob Wagner, R-Harrison, regarding his birther bill, which would require presidential candidates to provide the state with a valid copy of his or her birth certificate. During the interview Wagner said that he's unsure if President Barack Obama was born in the United States (he was, in fact, born in Hawaii). Wagner also.. posted using frpa

I am getting a kick out of all these "objective" journalists inserting things like "he was, in fact, born in Hawaii" or "incorrectly believes he was not born in Hawaii", etc.
They never fail to use the term "alleged" when it comes to criminals. Even ones caught on video gunning down people or even the 911 hijackers. They are allegedly pathetic, even though the evidence is overwhelming.

If he was “in fact born in Hawaii” then this law is harmless and only dots “i”s and crosses “t”s which we should all expect when it comes to something as important as electing the President of the United States.

The media and TV are ALL a joke including Fox now. They all support Hussein. This bill needs to get passed. We need it in at least 5 states and it has to be written so it is iron clad and gets enforced by the state AG.

he was, in fact, born in Hawaii And you know that how? It was alleged? Hearsay? Third party verification? Heard it thru the grape vine? Let's see the proof. Without the long form BC we don't know jack and anyone that says they do is either a liar or just plain stupid (or insane).

Why doesn’t Cooper ask Abercrombie where Obama was born? Is he afraid he will get the same answer?

I don't see this as so much a birther issue as it is common sense. If the Rats want all sorts of illegals flooding over the border, doesn't it make good policy to check potential POTUS candidates of their paperwork? Throw this back at that little slap bitch Cooper and see what he has to say.

Were obammy born in Hawaii and all things in his past were hunkie dorie, then WHY has this marxist turd spent by all accounts, millions to keep EVERYONE from reading his true past???????

“...(he was, in fact, born in Hawaii)...”
I don’t think we can say “in fact”. According to the Governor of Hawaii and at least two other sources, they couldn’t find the birth certificate, so how do we know that obama was “in fact” born in Hawaii?

If one of these so-called “birther bills” gets passed, Obama will have no choice but to provide his documentation. If he doesn’t, things would get very interesting. What excuse could he offer?
To: Mr. K
"(he was, in fact, born in Hawaii)."Well, there you go then! He was born in Hawaii!
So it shouldn't take him more than 72 hours to produce the document for public examination.
Glad that's settled!

According to the White House Insider emails at Newsflavor.com, there is serious concern over this very issue of states legislating this type of requirement. Elections are run by each state - it's not a Federal obligation. So any state can adopt a rule like this legislatively and there's not much to be done at a federal level. Their Jarrett strategy is exactly what Cooper is doing: attack such legislation outright as “crazy” or “misguided” before it's enacted; or if such legislation is enacted hope it's confined to merely 1 or 2 states so the White House can brand such states as racist. The true concern from the White House is that if a large number of states enact such legislation because it's harder to paint the racist charge over a swath that wide. Cooper eveidently got the White House memo and is running with it. Their hope is more will do the same. That said, their is a genuine fear that legislation like this spreads. Seems like such legislation would be best passed in the near future, after Obama officially becomes the nominee, leaving less time for a replacement to gain traction if such requirements force him to withdraw.

...to the 14th Amendment and the standard it sets for who is considered a naturalized born American citizen.Notice the wording...naturalized born, not natural born.
Nobody else is even noticing it...yet.
I was a little off the other day.
"I hope Jeff does a piece on Anderson Cooper's show as well. Including the slips of the tongue like with "naturalization" when speaking about the 14th Amendment.
And why didn't he get a Constitutional scholar instead of a paid analyst for additional comment?"
