Former state trooper Larry Brandon Lovick, 32, left
A former state trooper pleaded guilty Friday to a single charge stemming from a traffic stop during which he admits to handcuffing a woman and later exposing himself.
Several other women have come forward to report they also were harassed by this trooper.
"The Wake County District Attorney told WRAL that he has reason to believe that Lovick was involved in another similar incident, but that woman chose not to press charges. Highway Patrol documents obtained by WRAL indicate that a third woman also had a similar complaint."

NC having a hard time with its Troopers, last year the ended up with 7 charged with crimes and about 11 or 12 more getting fired for various stupidity...
To: WaterBoard
This NC Trooper did this before and the NC State Police just gave him a wink and nod and did not fire him.
"But when trooper Larry Brandon Lovick pulled over a woman for speeding in the fall of 2009 - and agreed to tear up the ticket if she raised her shirt to show a lower-back tattoo - the patrol decided a three-day suspension without pay was in order. Lovick served it without complaint."

Do they really put this kind of trash out there without prolonged and annual mental evaluations. Why hell yes there stands the proof, I would fire the head of the state police for this one.

Geez .. look at that mug ... anyone doing a film need a perfect Lucifer? Good lawyer, telling him to come in scowling with that rapist/killer/thug look going for him. Wonder if his lawyer thought he was guilty and was trying to get him cooked?

What I don’t get is when victims say stuff like “they don’t want the perp to go to jail”.
Why the hell not? If she was my wife, gf, daughter, etc - I’d want him to ROT there!

Yes, I forgot about the one getting it on with his trooper friends wife, in the back seat, while the trooper driving was so blind-ass drunk he did-not know it was going on, until the trooper stated calling his house for seconds.

I understand that background checks have been seriously compromised during the past 20+ years as privacy laws and PC have been taking effect.
This is affecting the quality of candidates for law enforcement at all levels, teachers, etc.

Icky. They say that exhibitionists are usually very insecure about their...er...manhood. A friend of mine was once approached by one of these guys and actually drove him off by laughing and saying, “OMG! That’s the smallest one I’ve ever seen!”
But his department should have canned him on the very first complaint.

Don’t forget about the one who starved his state owned K-9 to death and the other one who for reason passing understanding killed a kitten in front of some children.

A skilled personnel interviewer could talk to the candidates and in ten minutes find out who the bad ones are.

Perhaps they are worried about the other state troopers still on the road.
