Sarah Palin continues to be a repository for the Left's paranoia. Ever since her arrival in St. Paul,Minnesota the self-motivated, good-looking, charismatic, conservative Governor has been subjected to all-consuming assaults coming from both genders and both parties. The carnivalistic orgy of insults and torrent of false accusations have not abated, despite the general consensus that she is "unelectable."
While Palin's gender automatically makes her vulnerable in the race for the White House, (no female has ever been elected President or Vice-President), there's some deeper unknown that turned normal curiosity about an unknown candidate in 2008 into full-blown rage.

In her case she was not in office so she was drawing fire away from other Republicans who are/were. The more they were complaining about something she said, the less time they had to complain about the others. Not sure if you think that was good or bad.
Walker and Christie and some other governors are really leading the conservative revolution right now. They both entered the den of lions this week, MSNBC the Morning Joe, and crushed all their arguments against them.
They hate her because they have 1/2 her IQ and NONE of her star power. If only she hadn’t played such a large part in salvaging McCain...
It's a warning to others as to what will happen to you, your family and your business if a real conservative attempts to run for high public office.

I continue to believe that the extreme emotion is rooted in her refusal to abort a Down Syndrome child.
Liberals cant stand it when conservatives dont just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
Also some of the liberal elite ladies (and I use the term ladies generously) are driven insane by the fact she is very attractive and her husband is a real man.
When liberal men look at Todd Palin it must drive them nuts to know he can kick their butt and sleeps with Sarah Palin. They hate him but also envey him.
Nailed it. No one who is effective in countering the libs will be exempt from this treatment. No one.
Fortunately, people who fight back can overcome the treatment, and unfortunately there aren't many willing to fight back for any length of time.
It's a lesson a lot of conservatives need to learn.
The truth is Palin likes herself and it shows. She's an oddity for sure. Her undeniable zest for life in a culture of death makes her especially dangerous and foreign to the cultivators of cynicism and political power. Palin, as a palpable symbol of American exceptionalism, comes on to the world stage at precisely the time America's greatness is being challenged from all sides. Along with the millions of real conservatives that have rallied around her message, Sarah Palin's mere existence portends a major shift away from covert and corrupt politics toward a restored vision of real hope.
I agree, completely. The reason left-wing 'journalists' ask the question about Palin-hatred is to give themselves a self-made opportunity to have another leftist state that Palin is 'stupid', etc and, they hope, cement the perception that Sarah Palin is not to be taken seriously. In this era, when the 'MSM' is experiencing rapidly shrinking influence due to their no-longer-hidden left-wing bias, that may not work near as well as it once would have. When conservative/independent writers ask the question, I believe, as this article demonstrates, that they are attempting to honestly answer the question many Americans must ask themselves. I like the answer M Catherine Evans offers.
Worth repeating.
I discussed with a friend last night the WHY of Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome, here is what we came up with:
1. After the RNC Speech they were scared shiftless that she was able to “Energize the base” 1000X as much as their toadie Juan McCain, and this became a threat and thus became their “public enemy #1”.
2. She doesn’t prescribe to the their ideal of “Institutional Liberal Feminism” and thus is seen as a “Heretic” in the eyes of the “Religion of the 60’s radical Feminist”.
3. She is seen as a threat to the “Pro-Choice” movement, specifically the “Pro-Abortion” Radicals who inhabit that organization because of her willingness to actually have the audacity to give birth and care for a child who has Downs Syndrome instead of just aborting it like the genetic councilors ie. eugenicists prescribe.
4. The Love/Hate paradigm. Before Sarah Palin was nominated for VP she was a bit of a Hero in the minds on some of the left, but for all the wrong reasons. They Loved her for taking on the “Good Ol’ Boys Network” in Alaska performing a good olde fashioned house cleaning and dealing with the political corruption surrounding the oil companies who had bought off the RINOs in Alaska. She was actually doing these things because it “Was the right thing to do” and because it was the Conservative thing to do. The lefties thought she was doing it out of “Social Justice” because it involved punishing Republicans ie. (RINOS), but it was just Plain(Palin) Justice. When she accepted the VP nomination, those on the left who liked her saw it as a complete betrayal and when they realized what her true conservative ideals were, they went from Love straight to Hate and Loathing because they were ashamed they “loved her before they hated her”.
Those are my theories on why Palin Derangement Syndrome exists.
Is that what she's doing? Last week she said she was 'thinking' about it. So she is done 'thinking about it' and has decided to run since last week?

Palin is getting the same treatment Reagan got.
Just based on that, she’s right.
The left cannot stand for a powerful politician who connects with the American people. They cannot stand a president who want’s to free up the American people and industry. The libs want to be rulers/dictators and see someone with the Reagan attitudes/beliefs to be a threat to their very being.
