Palin Haters Continue Assault, But Why?
The American Thinker ^ | 2/24/2011 | M Catherine Evans

Sarah Palin continues to be a repository for the Left's paranoia. Ever since her arrival in St. Paul,Minnesota the self-motivated, good-looking, charismatic, conservative Governor has been subjected to all-consuming assaults coming from both genders and both parties. The carnivalistic orgy of insults and torrent of false accusations have not abated, despite the general consensus that she is "unelectable."

While Palin's gender automatically makes her vulnerable in the race for the White House, (no female has ever been elected President or Vice-President), there's some deeper unknown that turned normal curiosity about an unknown candidate in 2008 into full-blown rage.

If she can get a higher percentage of female votes than normal, the dems are toast.

A lovely thought...

When you look at the democrat coalition, it requires getting over 80% of black voters, 70% of jewish voters, 65% of latinos, and 55% of women. This is because they have lost white male voters. If Palin gets even 50% of women voters, there is no way that the dems can make up the loss in other places. She is the only Republican who can upset the coalition and hence the abject fear.

I have no problem with Title IX. It has been proven to be a boon for women's sports in all levels. Of course you probaly where happy to have the women stay home barefoot and pregnant.

Her support of the LOST was in relation to the massive Russia and Canada exploration of the Ar tic ocean. AK was being held out of the process because of the USA not being in the LOST. Since Congress didn't pass LOST large sections of the artic seabed have now been given to Russia and Canada “legally” which we will have to fight over if we want to mine them.

I'm not a big fan of LOST but I can understand Palin’s position on it. It would have been what was best for AK not so much the USA as a whole. Different hats and all that...

Neither has any basis on Palin being a Reaganite. she also doesn't agree with him on amnesty. however she shares his economic policies , peace through strength, american exceptional-ism, conservative values, federalism, and constitutional limits of government, view on Israel. Lybia, small government, low regulation etc.

they know she will siphon off female votes and that she is a conservative that will speak her mind and not be bullied into political correctness.

And, they've seen her take on Letterman who tried to sully her daughter's reputation. (Three days later, he apologized for picking the wrong daughter to slander as a slut). Ow! That had to hurt.

Her depiction of Death Panels in Obamacare drew a little blood from The One.

But Chivalry may be her best 'card'(as Obozo will play the Race Card) when things get dicey. See, the Left has only one quiver to turn to when attacking an opponent: the one filled with Hate and Lies. How's that going to play with men, generally, and women, who've been the recipients of such mal-treatment?

Denouncing Reagan as an old, senile, dolt would be much easier than attacking Sarah- an energetic, young, conservative woman. They'll have their work cut-out trying to smack her down as she goes at them with the truth on: unemployment, deficits, energy, the Middle East, etc.

Americans, especially those who don't pay too much attention, will get a good look at just how mean the Left can be when threatened by a real conservative. They'll see repeatedly just how low they will go. Against a woman and mother, this can only backfire on them and they know it.

This country is still chivalrous. Being considerate and courteous toward women hasn't gone out of style, yet. This shield will defend her against repeated, "uncivil" attacks by the Left. And they can't handle it.

"Palin’s electability can be reckoned as an inverse function of the virulent campaign intent on her delegitimation. ! The greater the fury … she is met with, the greater the likelihood that she poses a genuine threat! One does not raise a mallet to crush an ant.”

The reality of what Sarah Palin does to liberals, maggot infected gays posing as journalists/writers, lesbians, abortion queens, and of course the kind and gentle Rinos is shown below:
