Obama =/= legitimacy.
But if Gaddafi had kept his prior legitimacy as a mass-murdering dictatorial slave keeper, then he could stay.

Gee, you mean all we would have to do to get him out of office is to rally in the streets of D.C., demand that he step down and declare him to be an illegitimate president?
I mean if he believes this about KDaffyDuck then let’s rally, call for him to step down immediately and he should be more than happy to leave. </sarcasm>

What is it about Barack Hussein Obama... natural foresight, cool intuition, or pure genius?
How do he and his staff know these things?
He seems to be implying that the leadership of Moammar Quaddafi is somehow in question, or perhaps to be challenged.

So according to Obama himself, if a leader loses legitimacy then he must leave office. Hmmmmmmm.....
Too late now....Mr. Khadafy (spelling?) is now regaining foothold and will likely regain full control of his country over the next few weeks. By doing so, and listening to what Mr. Obama is saying, he will welch his deal to stop weapons research and begin it again.
Will Obama’s relatives in Kenya be forced to return all the cash they’ve received from Q-Daffy over the years? Or do they get to keep it?
Fortunately for Obama, he never had any legitimacy to lose. The former US Senator from Illinois can continue occupying our White House without worrying about being held to any standards, not even the low standards the world has for Kadhafi/Gadaffi/whatever.
